TaskClone allows you to quickly create events from Evernote checklist tasks.

Note: Beyond the free trial, this feature is available only on Professional and above plans.

Create events from Evernote checklist tasks

3 Easy steps
  1. Add events as tasks beginning with "sch: " Using Evernote checklists, write the events in natural language (e.g. Meeting at 1000 State St. on Tue 2/16 at 1pm).  Use "sch+: " to send to task app and calendar.
  2. Add "trigger" tag.  We initially set "taskclone" as your trigger tag, but you can always change it from the TaskClone Dashboard
  3. Close the note.  Tag the note last and then close it as Evernote doesn't allow us to add Skip Codes until the note is closed.

When you sync Evernote > TaskClone is notified of the events, extracts them and immediately sends them Google Calendar.   Google Calendar converts the natural language into an event.  Typically, the event shows in 0-5 minutes.

When TaskClone is finished > TaskClone 1) removes the trigger tag, and 2) adds Skip Codes to event to prevent the item from being cloned again.

Important! Do not edit the note again until Evernote syncs again and you see the trigger tag is removed and Skip Codes added next to each event.  TaskClone will only process the same note once every 2 minutes.
